MAJOR NEWS!! BIG ANNOUCEMENT!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!

Ladies….we are sooooo happy to share with you this big news…we are launching two new sites because having one site for all the fabulosity we have to offer you was just not possible anymore.
We have absolutely positively loved our time here on Packing Stylist with you…we have learned, grown and appreciated every minute we have spent here (honestly)…but we are both so creative and have so much we want to share that it was just a natural next step for each of us to have our own blog.
And before you can even think or say the word “gossip”…believe us, there is none. We love and respect each other as professionals, creative individuals and friends. We will continue to support one another as we both grow into new and exciting directions….and here’s the proof ;)

And just in case you can’t read those message…here is our new information:

Being in Switzerland makes me appreciate the sun and the warmth so much…because the weather here can be hit or miss, when a nice beautiful day arrives…everyone goes out and enjoys it!
We were so happy to see such a beautiful day ahead of us that we planned to go into the city and hang by the lake for the afternoon. Here is what I wore:

Joie Agacia Silk stripped top (you may remember it…I also wore it here)
Klique B denim cut off shorts (I bought these at Fashion Addict boutique in Miami, you can click here to see my review about this fabulous store)
Keds navy blue canvas shoes sans laces- I kind of always feel like “Baby” from Dirty Dancing in these shoes…anyone else feel like that?
My 2 usual bracelets (here) and I added an H&M orange wrap bracelet as well
Also from H&M, my new retro shaped sunglasses with a tiny gold heart detail- I adore these sunglasses, I think they’re tooo cute!

Stéphane Rolland fall-winter 2012 / 2013..breath taking

Haute couture Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Fashion Week in Paris was very much inspiring. In my opinion the strongest fashion show and collection had my favourite designer Stephane Rolland. He was absolutely brilliant as always. Soft colours, architectural silhouettes, inspired gowns in ivory, black elegance…everything about this collection was perfection. His finale star was a Chinese actress Fan Bingbing looking like a goddess in a dramatic white gown.

I’m halfway through my time here in Switzerland and the weather lately has been kind of cold and rainy…which has definitely made me nostalgic for my home, Miami Beach.  I thought this was the perfect time to share with you all the scent that I associated with my fabulous city…coconuts!! ;)

They say smells can transport you to places and revive memories and I couldn't agree more…all I have to do is smell any of these products and I feel like I’m home.
Let's start with some proof that I am clearly "loca"...I mean, I'm posing in the bathroom...cause isn’t that what you do when you have a mirror and a camera phone? ;)

Maldives paradise

Dear Ladies,
It’s time of summer vacations, beaches and fabulous bathing suits. That’s why I have decided to show you in the next few posts what kind of a look I choose. This time you will see the amazing Maldives, a paradise island. It’s one of my favourite places in the world, not only because of breath taking nature, but also cause my husband propose to me there a few years ago. I was fortune enough that I had a chance to see many resorts, but our favourite one by far is Gili Lankanfushi. This is a place where you don’t need anything apart from a bathing suit, summer dress, sunglasses and hat. Even flip flops are “not allowed” as a policy of the island, cause of the silky sand. It doesn’t get any easier to pack for a place like this. You can not get away without cosmetics such as protection creams for face, body, lips and hair. Also bring a good book. Turquoise sea, white send , amazing flowers, sound of birds..that's all you need. Waves and breeze are the most beautiful music…
I wore Etam bathing suit, Oakley sunglasses, Blue Rose jewellery and silk wrap which I bought somewhere in Italy. My husband was wearing Oakley sunglasses and shorts. Oakley has really great stuff, so that could be a good present for your man.

Hey Ladies,
You ever have those random nights…when you haven’t made any plans and then out of nowhere you decide to go and do something spontaneous? Well…I had that the other night with my hubby. After a long day of work and errands, we had planned a nice night in but on our way home we passed the Swiss Casino that is just minutes from our apartment…and we both looked at each other and said “why not?” ;) So after dinner, we headed out to try check out the place and try our luck at some cards.

Major upside of being in Europe during the summer are the summer sales…and being that my home is in Miami Beach, I happily buy all the “close-out” summer items at rock bottom prices. I mean, it’s always kind of summer in Miami and if you’re clever enough you can incorporate summer trends into fall/winter quite easily.
Anyway, I literally felt like I robbed some of these stores because the prices were so crazy low but hey…if it’s there, right? In all honesty, I bought way more than one post can allow but I thought I’d show you my 3 favorite items..all from different stores and all under $40.00.

Atelier Versace Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Collection

Every morning when I wake up, I have the pleasure of seeing my email full of messages from Vogue (I highly recommend adding them to your Facebook or Twitter as well)…and I often spend the first hour of my day looking at all the images of new collections, collaborations and designs.

This morning, I was so happy to see the Versace Atelier collection for this upcoming fall/winter season. Donatella Versace staged this utterly beautiful and feminine show at the last location her late brother, Gianni Versace, held his…the iconic Ritz Hotel. It was also the place where she last saw her brother…so you can imagine the emotions that were felt as the show started and finished. For me, this collection felt like love. Perhaps she had her brother’s presence extra close to her heart as she prepared for this show...I don’t know, but the collection felt emotional, almost fragile and true to Versace form…it was gorgeous. The color palette was an array of soft pinks, metallic golds and elegant purples. Donatella’s need for sexiness was displayed in a romantic way. The hair and makeup for this show was reminiscent of a Veronica Lake era…making the mix between the modern woman and the vintage glamour a delectable combination. At prices starting at $19,000,  this is a collection that is attained by only the elite few that can afford it…but I have to say, it sure is nice to look at and hey, a girl can dream, right?
