So by now you must all know that I’m a pretty classic dresser. I’m not too funky or crazy with my clothing options…it just wouldn’t be true to who I am, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to be bold…once in a while ;)
When I want to add a little more “power” to my look, I opt for a bold piece of jewelry and almost always chose to make it a necklace.
Even if you’re wearing a simple button down shirt like Bella B did here or with a silk blouse like I did here…a bold necklace can take your outfit from ordinary to fashionably chic in no time. It’s a great way to incorporate some color, bling, or artistic details into your look.
They are the perfect accessory for a special occasion, a casual lunch or a romantic date night…you can never be over or under dressed with these necklace options.
Personally, I love to wear bold crystal necklaces with a plain white or grey fitted tank top and my skinny jeans. I add some heels and I feel ready for anything. If I want to give the look an even more polished feel, I can add a blazer and be ready for a night out.
Celebrities have incorporated this trend on the red carpet and beyond. Take a look:
Just to point out, all these ladies chose to pair their bold necklaces with solid colors or very slight stripes…you want your necklace to accent your outfit, not fight with its design so be careful to not wear these necklaces when you already have a prints or patterns. It will be too busy.
I picked out some bold necklaces that jumped out at me…and I love every single one of these options. Some are very blingy, some have great color, some are a little adventurous but all of them are super fun.
