Okay, Ladies…I don’t know how your weather is but lately Miami’s Mother Nature has been acting kind of bi-polar. We have had a lot of random rain showers…sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening but definitely everyday. Personally, I don’t mind the rain because we’re usually pretty spoiled here with the sunshine but I will admit that dressing for the rainy weather can be a little difficult. Thankfully I always have my Hunter boots to provide me a stylish footwear option.
I have been in obsessed with Hunter boots for years now and I’m apparently not the only one. Celebrities and fashionistas from all over have fallen in love with the rubber riding style rain boot. They’re totally practical and look effortlessly preppy chic.

I mean, Angelina Jolie made the Hunter boots ‘sexy’ in Mr. and Mrs. Smith…now what other rain boot can do that?

You might be thinking “what is so special about a rain boot”…well, I’m here to tell you that these rain boots not only protect your pedicured feet from the rain but they also look amazing. The styling is chic, preppy and versatile. I have worn my boots with everything from LuluLemon yoga pants to jeans, skirts and shorts…believe me, the look works. And you know fashion is a main component to the company when Jimmy Choo asks to be a part of a special collection...and word on the fashion street is that J.Mendel is the next to collaborate with this chic boot company (see link here). Check out some of my favorite Hunter styles:

So…like I said, the weather has been crazy lately and because of some recent rains, I wore my Hunter boots out for lunch with friends.
This is how I incorporate my Hunters into my look:
Dolce & Gabbana blazer (same style here but in black. I love the animal pattern lining….it allows this classic blazer to have a discreet edgy style)
Banana Republic pleated lace top (shop for it here)
Seven for all Mankind Roxanne Jeans (the perfect skinny jean)
Gucci Boston Bag
Hunter Rain boots in glossy navy blue (Seriously…how cute do these boots look?)
Also, there was no way that I would have a good hair day with the downpour, so I pulled my hair up into a chic bun…which is the perfect solution for:
a) bad hair days
b) rainy weather
c) high-humidity
d) summer in Miami

So, Ladies…don’t let the rainy weather keep you from looking fashionable. Rain boots look great with anything and they allow you to do something that we should all do more often: play in the puddles and enjoy the rain! ;)
Special thanks to my friends Mark & Jeremy for taking pictures of me for this blog while the rest of the group was busy drinking margaritas…they are two fabulous guys and I simply adore them. Thanks!! ;)

Till next time, Ladies…
XOXO,
Bella M for Las Bellas
