Las Bellas Fashion: A La Folie for dinner

Hi Ladies, this post I don’t have any absolutely fabulous fashionable event to share with you but I do have an event that was important to me. I went to A La Folie restaurant with my French class to celebrate the end of the term. I have been taking French for over two years…and I love it. It’s my favorite language and learning something you love makes learning pretty fun. The place we chose for our “last dinner” is a super cute place located on Espanola Way in South Beach. It’s a French place where their specialties are crepes…which happen to be amazing.

Now onto what I wore…
Peaches & Cream print dress: I bought this dress at a store I just found (click here to see my review about it) and I loved that it had tribal prints, bold colors, short hemlines and a beautiful woven belt…and I got this dress for the amazing price of $54.00….yes! It was a major score.
Banana Republic Yellow leather clutch
Jade long dangle earrings
Christian Louboutin I Love Espadrille Sandals (these are probably my least comfortable Louboutins but I love their sculpted heel and the fact that they are totally different than my other wedges)
Russell Simmons Green Malachite bracelets (I wear these bracelets a lot because they were a gift from my husband and I respect what they stand for…even if they don’t always match the clothes, I know they always match who I am)

As you can see, I rode my bike to the restaurant…which is so authentic to life in Miami. We ride our bikes, drive our scooters and hop on the bus all the time. Driving and finding a parking space is sooo not in style here.
I had a great time speaking in French with my classmates, ordering my meal without having to think about which words to use and being able to “parle francais” like I have always wanted to…I’m nowhere near done with learning, but for now…my sessions are over. I’ll be back in school in September where hopefully I’ll keep getting “meilluer et meilluer” ;).

Till next time…

XOXO,
Bella M for Las Bellas
