This talented designer was brought up in the South of France, Argentina and the West Indies...but it wasn't until he landed in Paris that he found his fashion home and began his studies at the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
It's of no surprise to us that Stephane Rolland quickly became the king of Haute Couture...since as you all know, we think Paris is a a truly inspiring place. He went on to work as the creative director of the menswear and international license branch of Balenciaga at the young age of 21.
By the age of 24, Stephane Rolland had launched his own pret-a-porter (ready to wear) line for Jean-Louis Scherrer where he carried the title of artistic manager. This resume is one of the most impressive we've seen…to be so young and to make such a name in the ultra competitive world of fashion is no easy feat. Mr. Rolland is an artist in every sense of the word and his talent for art branched into the film world with his costume designs...he since has become an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival.
